Overview

An Implementation Specialist I is accountable for setting up new clients, client properties and client property accounts for payments & insurance. The position also assists with the daily processing of customer maintenance requests. Accountable to ensure that the clients’ payment & insurance system is setup properly and meet client expectations. An Implementation Specialist I coordinates with the Implementation Consultants and other internal partners to initiate setup by gathering all document requirements and information to begin the implementation process for new and existing clients for setup and upgrades/updates.

Responsibilities

  • Implement clients, clients’ properties and accounts following RealPage Payments & Insurance guidelines, and in accordance with client’s expectations.
  • Maintain and update clients’ accounts as needed.
  • Provides feedback to Implementation Consultants through the implementation process.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention through timely solution delivery within client-defined timelines.
  • Review orders and required documents for implementation for accuracy and then implement the solution in a much-prescribed manner according to guidelines and training.
  • Work with the Implementation Consultant until activation and the payments & insurance system is already up and running.
  • Remain engaged with the Implementation Consultant throughout the implementation process until activation.
  • Interact/collaborate with Implementation Consultant & internal partners to successfully activate the Transactional Services products.

Qualifications

  • Must be graduate of any four-year course. 1-2 years’ experience with account management, customer service for a software system.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a merchant services or payments processing organization.
  • General experience with managing merchant card, bank, and check processing services.
  • Strong understanding of payments processing rules, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Detail-oriented; Ability to learn and utilize new procedures and process quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with data entry with high attention to detail while handling highly sensitive information.
  • Proficient in of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and Web Browsers.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, revise and use a database to enter and revise client information.
  • Skilled at multi-tasking with the ability to prioritize key deliverables and work in fluid, fast-paced environment.
  • High level of organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, flexible, team environment and meet aggressive timelines. 
  • Able to quickly analyze and troubleshoot problem/issues.
  • Must be willing to work in a fixed night shift schedule.
  • Must be flexible in terms of the work arrangements (Work on Site, Work from or Hybrid).

Preferred Skills

  • Proficient knowledge of card-present and card-not-present payment processing and subscription-based revenue models.
  • Knowledge of check scanning software, mobile wallets, and alternative payments.
  • Experience with Salesforce or comfortable with quickly learning software that is critical to the success of this role.
  • Solid understanding of all operational items related to merchant processing including fraud prevention.
