Senior Manager – Oracle Fusion AR & Advanced Collections

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Oracle Fusion Accounts Receivable (AR) and Advanced Collections functional team. This is a leadership role for a strong, hands-on functional expert with end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementation experience and a deep understanding of the Quote-to-Cash/Order-to-Cash (Q2C/O2C) lifecycle.

The successful candidate will lead implementations, global rollouts, enhancements, and production support while partnering with business teams, IT, system integrators, and other Oracle Fusion workstreams. The role requires the ability to shape functional solutions, guide a team, and ensure that AR and Collections processes integrate effectively with upstream and downstream systems.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Fusion Accounts Receivable

  • Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Receivables.
  • Oversee customer billing and invoicing, including invoices, credit and debit memos, recurring billing, and transaction sources.
  • Manage receipt processing, including manual receipts, AutoCash, lockbox, remittance processing, and unapplied or on-account cash.
  • Oversee customer account and site setup, credit profiles, transaction types, payment terms, and related controls.
  • Ensure accurate receivables accounting and reconciliation between AR, Subledger Accounting, and General Ledger.
  • Manage adjustments, write-offs, aging, statements, and period-close activities.

Oracle Fusion Advanced Collections

  • Lead the design and implementation of collection strategies, scoring rules, dunning plans, and collection workflows.
  • Configure collector assignment, work queues, customer segmentation, and escalation processes.
  • Oversee delinquency management, promises-to-pay, disputes, and collector productivity.
  • Establish reporting and operational controls to improve collection effectiveness and reduce overdue receivables.

Implementation, Integration, and Transformation

  • Lead end-to-end implementations and global rollouts, from requirements gathering and fit-gap analysis through design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Configure Receivables, Advanced Collections, and related tasks through Functional Setup Manager (FSM).
  • Partner with upstream and downstream teams to deliver integrations with Order Management, Customer Data Management, Subscription Management, Payments, Revenue Management, and General Ledger.
  • Oversee data migration, reconciliation, and validation across implementation cycles.
  • Guide functional teams through unit, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Work with technical teams on integration requirements, FBDI, reports, and data flows.
  • Lead troubleshooting for process, data, integration, and scheduled job issues.

Leadership and Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and mentor a distributed team of functional analysts and consultants.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, system integrators, and third-party vendors.
  • Govern scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery quality.
  • Prioritize enhancements and production issues in line with business needs and service-level commitments.
  • Communicate progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes to senior stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement, standardization, and adoption of global processes.
