As a Senior .NET Developer on the RealPage SimpleBills team, you’ll be part of an agile product team delivering new features to a suite of utility management applications. These applications are centered around utility invoice ingestion, meter reading ingestion, resident billing calculations, and all the reporting and maintenance needs of clients and internal support teams. SimpleBills is a utility management product that specializes in the student housing and single family industry. RealPage is dedicated to engineering best practices and processes, as well as continually providing opportunities for professional growth. 

RealPage is looking for a Developer III to contribute specialized technical knowledge across multiple application development efforts. You will work closely with Product, Development, and QA to design and build data-driven solutions within the existing platform — from proof-of-concept work through coordinating across business, product, and engineering teams to ensure project success. This position participates in all phases of the software development life cycle. 

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, efficient, and highly scalable SaaS applications using .NET Core and Angular, applying sound object-oriented principles and design patterns. 
• Build and deploy APIs using RESTful principles and best practices. 
• Work full-stack or collaborate across front-end and back-end layers as the work requires. 
• Query and update data across relational databases, including SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL. 
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. 
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality. 
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions. 
• Participate in internal testing to identify problems early, performing error and stress scenarios and tuning for performance. 
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications to ensure high availability and performance. 
• Work within a Scrum SDLC, including sprints, demos, and retrospectives. 
• Work with Business Analysts on the Product Team to aid in the design and implementation of the system. 
• Coordinate technical requirements, configurations, and administration of deployment environments. 
• Identify and recommend where new technologies may be incorporated. 
• Follow industry best practices for delivering high-quality software on time and to specification. 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus 7+ years of proven experience as a .NET developer building n-tier applications. 
• Strong understanding of .NET, .NET Core, and C#, with an excellent grasp of object-oriented programming and design patterns. 
• Hands-on web application development experience with open-source technologies, tools, and APIs: C#, XML, HTML, TypeScript, Angular, and Entity Framework. 
• Experience building and deploying APIs and web services. 
• Mastery of database design and administration with SQL, including hands-on experience with SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL. 
• Demonstrated experience with AWS technologies and administration. 
• Experience using Claude Code, GitHub, and Azure DevOps. 
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit. 
• Familiarity with SDLC design principles and Agile/Scrum delivery. 
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; a team player with excellent interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision and comfort with strict deadlines. 
• Experience supporting products across different stages of their life cycle. 
• Experience defining technical expectations and goals for projects. 
• Demonstrated interest in, knowledge of, and enthusiasm for Internet and open-source technologies.
