Overview

The Implementation Consultant III leads complex end-to-end customer implementations and serves as a senior advisor on implementation strategy, operational design, and product best practices. This role manages high-visibility projects, consults with clients on business process alignment, partners across teams to resolve escalations, and applies advanced financial and accounting knowledge to deliver successful adoption, revenue recognition, and long-term customer readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple concurrent implementations, including complex, high-profile, or enterprise customer engagements across multiple product teams.
  • Define project scope, implementation approach, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans to drive timely go-live and revenue recognition.
  • Serve as the senior implementation point of contact for escalations, issue resolution, and decision-making on complex customer scenarios.
  • Consult with customers on current-state processes and recommend scalable, best-practice future-state workflows that support software adoption.
  • Configure and guide implementations for RealPage Accounting core and related products, including advanced accounting-oriented workflows where applicable.
  • Review month-end, reconciliation, reporting, and related financial processes with customers to support readiness and long-term operational success.
  • Partner with internal leaders and cross-functional teams to remove blockers, improve workflow effectiveness, and influence process improvements.
  • Mentor less experienced consultants by sharing implementation expertise, coaching on complex situations, and modeling strong customer leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proven success in software implementation, project management, consulting, or a similar customer-facing delivery role, typically with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong ability to interpret business needs and translate them into implementation strategies that meet or exceed customer goals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive-level customer stakeholders and internal leadership teams.
  • Advanced analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining quality and customer confidence.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to lead through influence across multiple departments and product teams.
  • Willing to work a fixed night shift schedule and flexible work arrangement as required by the business.

The employee must have the ability to operate a personal computer and express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. May be required to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May be required to lift or move 10+ pounds.
