Overview

A leadership role responsible for managing real estate and workplace facilities for the centre in India. The role holder engages with global counterparts to plan setting up of new locations depending upon organizational requirements. In order to create a conducive work environment, the role holder observes and engages with employees on the floor, to understand their perceptions and creates a case for incorporation of changes depending upon viability of various projects. The role holder drives and implements global initiates in India.

Responsibilities

  • Plans & executes safety plans, emergency evacuation plan and conduct safety surveillance with auditing for compliance.
  • Responsible for Client management, Vendor management, Employee transportation (Route scheduling/ Cost monitoring) and Event management.
  • Engages with internal stakeholders to understand the employee's feedback on the services offered by Facilities and Admin team.
  • Creates the budget for Admin activities, monitor expenditures according to budget allocation and recommends cost saving measures.
  • Responsible for space planning, monitoring of space utilization, meeting & training rooms post consultation with Employees and Stakeholders.
  • Maintains public relations with the Guest, taking their feedback and take corrective action for the customer delight.
  • Ensures that the quality of the food suppliers meets the requirements and undertake regular checks for the same
  • Responsible for proper utilization of assigned budgets, management of labor, conducting regular inventory checks & audits
  • Engages in price negotiations with vendors and on-board vendors keeping in mind the long-term requirements
  • Drives global initiatives in India under the direction of US leadership
  • Understands and shares learnings, best practices, latest trends/ insights on technology/ project delivery with team
  • Manages the career aspirations and professional growth of project team members
  • Focuses on talent motivation and retention and identification of high potentials
  • Drives performance appraisal, career management and development for direct reports, provides feedback and oversight
