Overview

The Team Leader III plays a strategic role in leading multiple implementation teams or complex programs within the RealPage Front Office Implementation function. This position drives cross-functional collaboration, continuous improvement, and strategic execution of client onboarding initiatives. The role includes leading two teams or high-impact programs across product lines, mentoring Team Leader IIs, managing escalations, and contributing to department-level planning, projects and reporting. A strong understanding of SaaS platforms, property management systems, and leadership development is essential. 

 

Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead multiple teams or high-impact programs across product lines. 
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Front Office implementation teams. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture through regular feedback, career development planning, and performance reviews. 
  • Leads strategic initiatives across multiple teams or departments, aligning implementation goals with company-wide objectives.  
  • Own quarterly business planning for the implementation team, including forecasting, resource planning, and innovation roadmaps. 
  • Acts as a liaison between Implementation, Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams to drive end-to-end solutions. Represent the team in cross-functional steering committees or product feedback loops. 
  • Champions enterprise-level automation strategies, mentor’s others in innovation, and measures ROI of process changes. Launch a center of excellence for automation within the department. 
  • Develop leadership pipelines, succession plans, and leads talent calibration sessions with senior leadership. Create a leadership development program for high-potential team members. 
  • Designs and interprets advanced analytics dashboards to influence executive decisions. Partner with leadership team to build predictive models for implementation success and client retention. 
  • Owns risk mitigation frameworks and leads post-mortem reviews for critical incidents. Develop a proactive risk scoring system for client rollouts. 
  • Drive strategic planning and execution of implementation initiatives. 
  • Mentor Team Leader IIs and support leadership development. 
  • Leads strategic talent sourcing initiatives to build high-performing implementation teams. Partners with HR and recruitment to define role requirements, assess candidate fit, and ensure alignment with long-term workforce planning. Develops and executes strategies for leadership pipeline development, succession planning, and internal mobility to support organizational growth and capability building. 
  • Champion automation, innovation, and process transformation. 
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align business goals. 
  • Own reporting for department-level KPIs and performance metrics. 
  • Support workforce planning and talent development. 
  • Ensure compliance with implementation standards and client expectations. 
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making and operational excellence. 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field. 
  • Minimum of 4–5 years of experience in software implementation or project delivery. 
  • 3+ years of experience in implementation leadership, process improvement, or client onboarding 
  • Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration and strategic planning.

Required: 

  • Ability to lead multiple teams or programs with strategic alignment to business goals. 
  • Skilled in mentoring and developing leaders, including succession planning, career pathing, and workforce planning. 
  • Strong decision-making and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all leadership levels. 
  • Ability to influence and negotiate across departments and drive cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Expertise in automation and innovation leadership, including identifying opportunities and measuring ROI of process improvements. 
  • Proficient in data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), with the ability to build predictive models and drive data-informed decisions. 
  • Strong understanding of SaaS platforms and property management systems (e.g., RealPage, Yardi, AppFolio). 
  • Deep knowledge of the implementation lifecycle and client onboarding best practices, with a focus on scalable and client-centric delivery. 
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and enterprise project management, including sprint planning and cross-functional execution. 
  • Demonstrated ability in change management and organizational development, including leading transformation initiatives. 
  • Experience in proactive risk mitigation and post-mortem analysis to drive continuous improvement. 
  • Six Sigma Green Belt preferred 
  • Preferred certifications such as PMP. Agile, Scrum, leadership development and coaching certifications 

 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

The employee must have the ability to operate a personal computer and express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. May be required to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May be required to lift or move 10+ pounds.
