About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Training (US Mortgage) to lead and scale training initiatives for our US mortgage operations. This role will be responsible for end‑to‑end ownership of mortgage training programs, including onboarding, upskilling, refresher training, and performance enablement across teams.
The ideal candidate brings strong domain knowledge in US mortgage processes, exceptional training planning & delivery skills, and the ability to lead trainers, standardize content, and drive measurable performance outcomes in a fast‑growing environment.
Training Strategy & Execution
Design, implement, and continuously improve US Mortgage training programs aligned with business goals.
Own new‑hire onboarding, refresher training, and ongoing skill development.
Standardize training frameworks, curricula, SOPs, and assessments across mortgage processes.
US Mortgage Domain Ownership
Deliver and govern training across US mortgage lifecycle, including (but not limited to):
Loan Origination & Processing
Underwriting concepts
Closing & Post‑Closing
Mortgage Payoff, Title, HOA, Municipal Liens, and related operational workflows
Ensure training content remains regulatory‑compliant and aligned with US industry standards.
Stakeholder & Business Alignment
Partner with Operations, Quality, and Leadership teams to identify skill gaps and training needs.
Translate business requirements into effective training interventions.
Act as a trusted advisor on training effectiveness and workforce readiness.
Training Metrics & Effectiveness
Define and track training KPIs (certification scores, nesting success, productivity ramp‑up, error reduction).
Analyze training impact and drive data‑backed improvements.
Support audits and quality reviews related to training compliance.
Learning Tools & Content Management
Oversee training documentation, knowledge repositories, and LMS usage (if applicable).
Leverage virtual training tools to deliver engaging and scalable learning experiences.
Continuously improve content using feedback, performance data, and industry best practices.
8+ years of experience in training roles, with at least 3–4 years in a managerial training capacity.
Strong US Mortgage domain expertise (mandatory).
Proven experience in training delivery, curriculum design, and trainer enablement.
Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
Solid understanding of adult learning principles, ADDIE model, and performance based learning.
Proficiency in MS Office tools for preparing reports, dashboards, and conducting data analysis.
Experience conducting virtual training for US‑aligned teams.
US shift( 9:00 PM IST - 6:00 AM IST).
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in mortgage operations, title services, or real estate services.
Exposure to LMS platforms, e‑learning tools, and digital training formats.
Certifications in Training, Instructional Design, or L&D (added advantage).
Experience in scaling training for high‑volume operations.
