Overview

The Vendor Account Specialist II – Credential Key (CK) is a product SME responsible for prospecting, converting, and managing vendors within the Credential Key Program within Vendor Credentialing / Spend Management.  The CK team member is well-versed in property & casualty insurance and often serves as the liaison between vendors and their insurance agents.  They also mentor other teammates to help develop their knowledge and technical expertise.  They work closely with other Vendor Credentialing teams to drive vendor enrollment, approval metrics, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will work alongside those within their pod while addressing responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:

  • Vendor and insurance agent outreach via phone and/or email for vendors in Credential Key Program or on behalf of clients in Risk Advisory Services (RAS).   
  • Insurance, corporate, and license document review, indexing, and processing.
  • Onboard vendors for the Credential Key Program by working directly with the insurance agent, initiating system links, applying applicable payment credits, processing insurance documents, distributing the welcome packet, etc.
  • Handling of assigned Salesforce tickets in the team queue.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal or external inquiries or escalations related to Credential Key.   
  • Assist with virtual office hour appointments as needed.  Office hours are an advanced functionality compared to what is offered through the standard support center. 
  • As the office hour host, the CK team member will be responsible for driving the conference call while also using screen share technology to review an account with a vendor and/or their insurance agent.   
  • Participate in the weekly rotation of Risk Advisory Services (RAS) projects designed to improve approval metrics for customers enrolled in the premium upgraded service. Team members will work with both Credential Key and Non-Credential Key vendors for these campaigns. 
  • Participate in product testing related to system enhancements to ensure the integrity of the Credential Key Program is not impacted. Report issues to the quality control team and leadership. 
  • Identify and drive campaigns that improve vendor enrollment and approval metrics.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
  • Prior Vendor Credentialing experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of property & casualty insurance
  • Excellent language and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational ability; must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required
  • Must be able to work well with individuals at all levels in and out of the organization
  • Able to learn new processes and tools in a fast-paced environment
